At Hummingbird, we’re here to help you perfect your workflow.

With one trained operator, you can expect to produce 2,200–2,700 fully hand-twisted or folded pre-rolls per shift.

To calculate your cost per pre-roll, divide your labor cost by your pre-roll output (e.g., 2,500 pre-rolls). With experience and a few of our accessories, this output can increase to ~3,000 pre-rolls per 8 hour shift. Your labor cost is based on your local hourly rates; for example, we model Oakland daily wages at $200 per day. At 2500 finished prerolls, your average labor cost per preroll post grind / pre packaged is ~$0.08 per pre-roll. If you are in a lower hourly wage area, the rate would be lower.

The cost of the HB1 is $15K and average co-packing pricing for bulk prerolls in California is ~$.45. The above are the variables you need to determine your ROI.

Payback period is 16.2  days or ~40.5K prerolls.

And remember, comparing our pre-rolls to vibratory-based manufacturing is apples to oranges. The quality of pre-rolls made by centrifugal force rivals some of the best hand-crafted pre-rolls in the world.
